We are glad to hear from readers — particularly about corrections, articles that have gone out of date, and topics you think deserve coverage.
Reaching the editors
Correspondence goes to [email protected]. Every message is read. Answers take a few days, and please do not use this address for anything urgent — that belongs with a doctor, not with an editor.
Useful things to send
- Corrections. If something in an article is wrong or has been overtaken by current guidance, tell us which page and what the issue is.
- Suggestions. A health topic you would like to see explained in plain language.
- Permissions. Questions about reusing material from the site.
What we cannot help with
We cannot answer personal medical questions, interpret your symptoms or test results, recommend or comment on a treatment or medicine, or tell you whether you should see a doctor. We are not qualified to do any of that, and we will not attempt it by email.
For anything concerning your own health, contact a doctor, pharmacist or your local health service. If you think you are facing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number immediately rather than writing to us.
